Dr. Lori Landis grew up in Baltimore County Maryland but has lived in the Middletown Valley since 2000. She received a BA in Biology from Hood College then went on to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She practiced general medicine and surgery at animal hospitals in Virginia and Maryland for many years before starting her house call business focusing on her passion caring for animals with chronic pain and life-limiting diseases. In 2017 she received certification in hospice and palliative care through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care.
Outside of her professional duties, Dr. Lori remains active in her church and enjoys gardening, and generally being in the great outdoors. She shares her home with 3 cats and a dog and enjoys spending time with her grown daughter and son and her furred grandbabies.
